About: Former computer engineer Laureano Serres has turned himself into a legend of catalan wine. Returning to his hometown Terra Alta just south of Catalunya to make wine Laureano has been working with organic fruit since 1998. After simply forgetting to add sulfer to his wine and enjoying the results Laureano has continued to exercersie restraint when it comes to winemaking interfering as little as possible often bottling young wines brimmning with energy. Production is small, just 6 hectares of vines at various atitidues with roots that reach the limestone bedrock providing freshnes that is not alway typical for wines of this region.
