About: Masseria del Pino is a small, family-run winery located high up on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. Federica Turillo and Cesare Fulvio oversee 1.7 hectares of vines aged between 120 and 140 years old. An incredibly small production with older low yielding vines wines produced have incredible concentration and quality. Ancient viticulture pratices are championed by Federica and Cesare, extra detail is taken to the soil and surrounding wildlife and of course all grapes are foot trodden. No Hectors wine list is complete without the Nova Fratelli making an appearance! a supremely balanced red with fine grain tannins, alive with the intense mineraliity and energy of Etna.
