About: Aldo Viola's wine have always been very special to us. From the rolling hills of Alcamo in Western Sicily. Aldo mainly grows Syrah, Cattarato and Grillo. Preferring long and mostly uninterrupted macerations of the white grapes he creates some of the best orange wines out of Sicily let alone all of Italy. His Syrah's are packed full of mediterranean spices and herbs and always have great licks of acidity, they also age beautifully.
